I'm a law student. No honestly I promise; textbooks, dress-up, wine and all. If I'm being honest, the best part about being a law student, is getting to say, 'I am a law student.' While on the subject, let me tell you the truth and nothing but the truth. If you like turning every little thing into an argument, if you like to read and understand things, if you like to meet outstandingly intelligent people and being boujie in some fancy clothes holding a glass of wine. Let me tell you something...you're a law student.
Okay, so you've watched 'Legally Blonde' and you swear by 'Suits.' It's not like that. Snap out of it. Truth is, you may as well pack a bag, because you're moving into the library. So it's 3am, and you're into you 6th hour of trying to get your essay done and submitted before the 9am deadline. You're in the library, on a table by yourself, surrounded by cups of coffee, and empty cans of Red Bull. You wish that thing gave you wings, and if it did you'd fly on out of there. But you know that's what they call a 'mere puff,' and yes I did cringe just writing that, thinking it was cool. Anyways, you're sat at your table and your watch hits 3.15 am. By now you've convinced yourself that you deserve another break, so you go for a walk around the library. Everyone's gone home by now, because, why shouldn't they? They have no assignments! All that's left is the law students. So you walk down the library and your eyes meet everyone's, and you swap your glances of struggle and desperation.
It's okay, you finish the essay, submit it on time, and you end up getting a decent grade, because let's be honest, what a law student passes of as bad, isn't actually bad. It's 5am, and you get into bed. You close your eyes, and you alarm rings. Wake up! It's 8am, you have a contract law lecture in an hour. It's okay because you get to say, 'I am a law student.'
